Svaneti is a mountainous region in the north-west of Georgia, where this recipe comes from. To prepare it, you need a large amount of salt and spices mixed with chopped fresh garlic. Our salt is well balanced in taste and spiciness.
Svan salt is traditionally used to improve meat, fish, potato dishes and soups. It is also very often used as table salt. Add spice to spice up a simple salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, in scrambled eggs, or even in a simple grilled vegetable dish. It is also appetizingly combined with oil, and then added to boiled potatoes.
